Sunday, Dec. 16, we do our final annual performance at Paisley Robertson's house in south Austin before she sells and moves on to Costa Rica! This has been a long standing holiday tradition and her annual Christmas Party.
Friday, Nov. 30, we are opening the season at the cosy confines of The Jung Society. By popular demand, we once again present this unforgettable performance of Capote's evocative childhood memoir of holiday traditions in the Depression era. Veteran actors Scotty Roberts and Mary Cox are joined by guitarist Mark Viator, playing his original musical soundtrack. Christmas refreshments, good company, and a lively discussion between audience and performers follow the show.
We're playing a very fun event on Sunday at the Gingerman Pub on Fourth St. It's the Dogtoberfest Celebration! (Sunday, 10/21/07, 1pm - 9pm ish) We play a 45 minute set at 2 PM, followed by a great lineup, including Slaid Cleaves at 6 PM and Susan Gibson at 7 PM. Can't beat the beer selection or the canine collection, so come hang out with us on the patio. Blue Dog Rescue will gather once again to present Dogtoberfest - a day of live music and fun to raise money for the dogs!
